COVID 19 EXPOSURE CONTROL PLAN
- All the passengers are requested to wear the masks please.
- All the sedan taxis can have maximum three passengers at the rear seat.
- Front passenger seat can not be used for a customer ride.
- Chilliwack Taxi ensures that workers (staff and subcontractors) and others showing symptoms of COVID-19 are prohibited from the workplace (office building and taxis).
- COVID-19 Symptoms include fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and new muscle aches or headache.
- Anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must selfisolate at home.
- Anyone under the direction of the provincial health officer to self-isolate must follow those instructions.
- Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada must self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms.
- If a worker reports having COVID-19-like symptoms while at work:
- The worker will be sent home to recover for the prescribed selfisolation period.
- The work places (Office and the taxi, if driven by that worker) will be cleaned and disinfected.
- Directions from public health will be followed.
- The workers having questions or concerns about workplace exposure to COVID-19 can call WorkSafeBC’s Prevention Information Line at 604-276-3100.
